Both of the Vikings DPL teams have completed their DPL regular seasons on top of the standings in their respective divisions. Wiesbaden Vikings BLACK finished first overall in DPL 1 for the first time since joining the league three years ago. Wiesbaden Vikings RED moved up to DPL 4 after winning DPL 5 last season and started the season by dropping their opening game. However, they recovered nicely and finished on top of DPL 4. Both teams have earned first round byes which are welcomed as the club heads south to the Alps next week to participate in the annual Armed Forces Alpine Classic in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. They will begin the DPL semi-finals in March.
