On March 22, 2015 at the Eishalle in Mainz, Germany the top team of HC Wiesbaden took on the boys from Team Hockeyshop Forster in a rematch of last year’s RMHLiga championship game. Last year, THF defeated the Vikings in a shootout to capture the Cup. This year, the game was competitive at the puck-drop, but by the end of the game the Vikings earned a decisive victory and brought the Cup to Wiesbaden for hte first time in the history of the league. The final score was 9:1 for the Vikings with Robert Painter scoring a hat-trick and goalie Yanni Clermont giving up only the one goal.
Now it’s on to inline season where the Vikings will compete in the Regionalliga Sud and the DPL inline league. GVG!
